What I did

In 2021, I completed a Product Management certificate at Brainstation, which was a great chance to solidify my existing experience with industry best practices. For our final assessment, I teamed up with colleagues to develop an MVP for a digital product. We conceived "Pulse," an app designed for HR professionals to non-invasively gauge employee engagement at a micro level.

How I did it

My team and I leveraged various Product lifecycle tools to establish a framework for gathering requirements and producing an MVP. This involved creating a research-backed problem statement, developing user personas, and defining our value proposition, vision statement, and MVP. We conducted user interviews to gather essential details about the common challenges HR professionals encounter when trying to identify and address employee pain points.

Results

Based on the depth of insight we were able to provide and the quality of the requirements we gathered, our team received an A+ on both our concept and ability to demonstrate our understanding of the Product lifecycle principles
