Fresh from the hallowed halls of the University of Toronto (St. George campus) in 2012, where I earned my Honours B.A. with a double major in English and Cinema Studies, I found myself utterly captivated by the world of Digital Media, especially during the vibrant early days of the blogosphere.
My journey into content creation began with a flourish, penning insightful pieces for various music and film review blogs, and even gracing the pages of UofT’s beloved campus publication, The Varsity. It was within the dynamic environments of digital and print powerhouses like Tribute Magazine and Trend Hunter that I truly honed my craft, churning out hundreds of SEO-optimized blog posts and mastering the subtle art of the compelling headline. With over 300 published film, music, and media reviews and commentaries under my belt, my passion for all forms of media burned brighter than ever.
This fervent dedication ultimately led me to found my own media company, Bad Influence Media. Here, I had the exhilarating opportunity to collaborate with small businesses, such as Toronto Tees and 360 Screenings, crafting high-value promotional videos and media that not only captivated audiences but also strategically propelled their brand expansion. In this entrepreneurial venture, I proudly led a talented team of camera technicians and film editors, orchestrating the creation of truly captivating content meticulously optimized for online conversion.

Produced short videos and promotional materials and social media campaigns for various Toronto-based businesses.
Trend Hunter
While working as an editorial intern at Trend Hunter I also supported their YouTube channel by producing short editorial styled videos. I managed the film crew, researched & conducted interviews and wrote the corresponding trend articles on Trendhunter.com.
Bent Not Broken (digital short)
I was Cinematographer and Producer on this film showcased at the 416 Community Support Shelter for Women. This film deals with eating disorders and body image issues. Directed by Ryan J. Sheridan and written by Ryan J. Sheridan and Alex Bains.
The Young and the Homeless (digital short)
I produced and acted as Director of Photography on this short film.
