What I did
In 2024, Loblaw Digital rolled out LOOP – a Deman-Side Platform (DSP) which allows users internal and external to create on site ads which display on our digital platforms.
My team was engaged to lead the roll out of several new placements on the LOOP platform.
How I did it
Using my experience in Product Management, I worked closely with the platform Product leads to establish clear requirements based on our current ways of working, accounting for any areas or gaps which the new DSP platform would not cover.
User acceptance testing: working closely with my team, we conducted thorough UAT to ensure the workflow for LOOP did not have any serious bugs or defects which would critically impact our team efficiency or delivery time.
Tracking bugs, improvements and new features: through testing, we were able to identify several aspects of the new DSP platform that needed improvement to increase efficiency and ensure accuracy. I used my experience in Product management to create a tool using our COA platform that would allow us to succinctly track and identify these issues.
Results
Year to date, myself and my team have launched 50+ LOOP DSP built placements with accuracy and efficiency. Through our organized and consolidated feedback, we’ve been able to deliver over $15 million in media sales revenue driven through executing LOOP placements. LOOP built placements continue to be some of our highest grossing placements for clients to opt into.
